About
The “Natural Cognition” series is designed as an interdisciplinary forum for exploring cognition as a natural phenomenon, where philosophy can serve to monitor and weave discussions between various disciplines broadly related to the investigation of the mind. Following on from the inaugural meeting Logic, Evolution, Organisms, held in 2013, and the second meeting Rationality and its Rivals in 2015, the 3rd International Conference on Natural Cognition aims to bring together scholars from different areas of philosophy, as well as psychology, with the purpose of exploring the interplay between experience, concepts, and human agency.
This event is sponsored by the University of Macau, and supported by the Philosophy and Religious Studies Programme, and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at UM.
